Default PLEASE help a friend in need

Hello everyone,

A dear friend of ours, and of the performance community, Mike of Kenne Bell superchargers, recently learned that his wife, and mother of two young boys (ages 3 and 17 months), has inoperable stage 4 pancriatic cancer. This woman is only in her mid/late 30's, and is the love of Mikes life. She is adored by her children, and the backbone to their family. She has been given only months to live, but is fighting with everything she has to beat the odds.

In order to help her in this battle, we are trying to relieve as much stress off of their family as possible. The best way we know how to do this is to provide some financial help. We want Mike to be able to give her anything she needs, in order to help her in her journey. We all know that money is the reason people cant do alot of things they need to do. If Mike wants to take time off work to be with his wife, he needs to know he has money set aside to help with those bills. If his wife wants to curl her toes on the beach of Hawaii, and smell the ocean air, Mike needs to have the financial ability to sweep her off her feet, and take her there. But if God forbid her journey is cut short, Mike needs to have the ability to cover the costs associated with the proper service. We have set up an account for their family to help pay for anything they may need to get through this time, whether it be doctor's bills, travel expenses, time off work, or anything else they may need.

We are hoping and expecting that anyone, and everyone who knows Mike from Kenne Bell superchargers (and even those who dont) will make a donation for this cause. Mike is a proud person, who will NOT ask for help. These proceeds are being given to him, so that he may focus on getting his wife healthy. Anyone who has lost someone close to them knows, that money is always the reason why that person can not go above and beyond for the health and support of their loved one. They either dont have enough money to take off work, take them to that special place, purchase that special item that their loved one has always wanted, pay for medical bills and co-pays, or at the very worst, pay the skyrocketing costs of a proper service.

So all in all, We want Mike to focus on loving his wife, and seeing her through these difficult times. His friends need to carry him, and give all the support they can possibly afford, and then some.

We (TPE) have commited to a large portion of our profit from KB sales directly to this fund. We have also set up sales on ALL forums, donating 100% of our proceeds to his cause. Plus, anyone who makes a donation that is NOT attached to a sale, up to $100.00 will be given in a TPE store credit. So if someone was going to buy a 100 dollar part from us, they can just donate that same 100.00 to Mikes cause, and we will send that person the part at no charge. This is a win/win for the customer and Mikes family.

We are hoping to accumulate $15,000.00 over the next 30-60 days for Mike and his family. We have set up an account through paypal and have sent Mike a Paypal Visa debit card, that will allow him to access this money on a moments notice. He has all account information, and passwords, so this is atached to him 100%. With this, now, when he needs something, rather than trying to figure out how to come up with the money, he can simply go to the ATM or bank, and withdraw any amount he chooses. This way his only concern will be his wife, and children. We can NOT do it alone, so we need everyones help as much as possible.

You can either pay directly though the link below, or go straight to his paypal account, and donate directly to him. The account email is: KenneBellMike@Gmail.com . To learn how to send money via paypal, please go to www.paypal.com. When sending money directly to him, make sure you click on the "Gift" button. By doing this, they will not charge him any processing fee's, they will give him 100% of the money.

If you choose to donate more than $100.00 through our website (its set up 1.00 to 100.00), please contact us, and we will set up any amount you choose. 100% of all donations will come with a receipt showing the donation for tax purposes.

So please Guys and Gals, a true frind looks past his own problems, to help those in need. Right now, there is no one as important, as Mike and his family. So its our duty to help our friend with anything he needs.

http://www.totalperformanceengineeri...d37ffd8e61a7d0

100% of the money you give will go directly into this account for Mike and his family. So PLEASE look within yourself, and help a dear friend of ours, and an extremely important person to the performance communiuty.

Thank you for your support and donations.

Everyone say a prayer for our friend, and let the lord know loud and clear that we wont stand for her being lost to the disease.

We have been members of this forum for many years and have thousands of friends and loyal customers on this site. We would NEVER make such a horrible post if it wasn't real.

If that is not sufficient verification, you may call Kenne Bell direct (909) 941-6646 and ask anyone who answers. More than likely it will be Matt, Dan or Mike himself.

Better yet, please send Mike an email giving your prayers and well wishes. His direct email is Mike@KenneBell.net.

Tried to donate on your site but it wouldn't go through because of the shipping.

We have never done this before, so its a new kind of glitch.

I have fixed the problems on the website. I did a test order that went through perfectly. You should no longer have any isses with shipping. You do still need to provide your address and information and make sure you click the "agree to terms" box at the bottom of the page to finish the order, but everything went through okay.

Thank you for your patience and your donations.

We have been having numerous people tell us they cannot make a donation via our website because it is asking for a shipping method. Although there is no shipping method, and no shipping will be charged, the shopping cart requires the information to be entered. Please follow the instructions below when placing a donation via our website:
  1. Choose your donation amount by clicking the radial next to the donation amount
  2. Click "Add to Cart"
  3. Choose the Country from the drop down box below the checkout box
  4. Type your zip code in the box provided below the country
  5. Click "Checkout"
  6. Under "Proceed Directly to Checkout" click "Checkout"
  7. Type in ALL personal information with *
  8. Click "Continue"
  9. Enter Payment Method
  10. Click "Continue"
  11. Check the box to agree to conditions of use
  12. Click "Confirm Order"

I hope this clears up any confusion. If for some reason you still experience issues, please give us a call at the shop (702) 632-0270 and we will gladly take your donation over the phone. Or you can paypal your donation directly to KenneBellMike@gmail.com.

Thank you again for your donations and prayers.

We have great news to announce to everyone. Thanks to this AMAZING site, we have now generated almost $3,000.00 dolalrs for Mike and his family. But as I said before, we are still approximately $12,000.00 short of our goal, in order to guarantee Mikes financial stability.

We are happy to say that Mike was able to transfer $2,200.00 into his account this morning. What does this mean?? This means that you guys have given him and his wife a couple weeks of financially worry free times.
Medical costs are running in upwards of 500-700 PER WEEK (over 100.00 every time she goes to each Doctor). So with this money, not only can Mike afford to take extra days off work, but thanks to you ALL he can write that check for the Co-pays and prescriptions without any worries as to where the money is coming from.

Guys and Gals, I lost my best friend, and the godfather to my children 9 years ago from Cancer. He died at the age of 25 years old. This was devastating to me, my wife, and my kids. But what was even more devastating, was finding out that his family couldnt afford a proper service. So what was supposed to be a celebration of his short life, turned into a beg, borrow, and steal week, in order to make an "attempt" to honor him in the proper manner.

What made it worse, was the fact that I was left with the burden of knowing that I am the one who told him to get the bone marrow transplant to early.

My point being, is that this disease can take a person on a moments notice. The family is so caught up with getting them better, that they dont think of the "Other" preparations that need to be considered. Now I firmly believe that Kristi is going to beat the odds, but I dont want to be naive.

Your donations are bridging that gap between dispare, and hope. The feeling of "We Can Not", to the feeling of "We Will".

Each and every person who has given to Mike and his family will be getting a personal thank you from Mike, Kristi, and his kids. But more importantly, I want you to know personally, that on behalf of my family, you guys have truely changed the way I feel about strangers in general. We are forever changed by the sheer love for your fellow man and woman.

These times are tough, but even in these difficult times, we have gotten everything from $500.00+ dollar donations from the very wealthy, to $1.00 donations from the unemployed and on government assistance. We have even received donations from Muslems in Iraq, even though we are at war in their country.

Regardless of the outcome, your generosity in these difficult times shows the true love of a man and his family.

God bless you all. Even to those who can not spare 1.00, but have given the gift of a heartfelt prayer.

I am honored to say you guys are friends of ours

P.S. Mike and I spoke yesterday, and God forbid this does not turn out as everyone is hoping, the excess money, after expenses are paid, will be given to his children, in their mothers name, as a final gift for their fight through life. So no mtter what, your donations will make an impact for many many years to come.

I apologize, but we are a little short staffed at the shop right now and are slammed with work so it is taking us a little longer than we would like to return some calls. I am out of the office today, but I will let Jeff know to give you a call.
