Some different C5 pics..
Took a new job at the KSC here a month or so ago. I've been exploring the historic areas of the base after work and thought I'd get some pictures from my cellphone. Sorry that they're not the greatest but they're still neat.
To start it off, let's honor the heroes.
I've admired this place since I was a little kid, so to work here is pretty amazing. To be able to stand at that spot with a land rocket of my own is pretty awesome.
This next set is from Launch Complex 34, the site of the Apollo 1 fire.
The next set is from the Air museum on the base here.
My friend saw the following shot and said "In the rear, an American rocket. In the front, an American rocket."
I know it's not many shots, but I thought they were neat. I'd like to get a shot with my vette and the shuttle in the background, but I don't know where I can go and actually take a picture. I'll have to ask around.

If you want a picture of your car with a space shuttle in the background, come to the Air Space Museum here in Huntsville. Maybe I'll get a chance to stop and snap a picture of mine. I used to work here at MSFC, and I have several pictures of my Nova with rocket test stands in the background (those were my pre-Corvette days). Hope you enjoy your work at KSC.
