I'm trying to raise my front end that the previous owner slammed. I adjusted the bolts (clockwise) to the top of the spring and it won't raise. Looks like there are no bushings. If the bushings are the case were can I purchase them?? Any advise would be appreciated.
To raise the front of your, you would have the top of your screw that you are tuning, bottoming out on the top of your spring.
GM, does not sell the screw/bushing by itself. You are required to purchase the entire spring as a unit.
Of course you don't want to do that.
There are after market kits out there, that has the bushings all ready removed. No after markets that I know of, sells the adjusters w/ full size bushings.
You should be able to get the correct ride height (raise) even w/ the aftermarket or original w/cut off bushings.
I'm thinking your going the wrong way w/ your adjuster, & you probably have alot of thread showing on top of your spring?
