Painted my rear bumper
Went over to my buddies house today and we painted my back bumper. Took about 5 hours total. Here are some pictures of the results...
(In a nutshell)
1.Taped it off
2.Scotch Pad to scuff it
3.Cleaned it
4.Sprayed it with 5 coats

Here are a couple more pictures just for fun. And me trying to be a :photo:
(His T/A was also painted the same way)

Seems like Chevy should have done this right from the factory. Looks great!

Did you use semi-gloss or just flat black? Brand?

Looks like it turned out good. Please post the specifics on the paint brand finish etc. That's one hell of a steep driveway too.

I painted the undersides of my 04 Vette where they get marked up from small road debris with GM correct black paint. No clear on it but it looks a lot better than it did before. Washed it, scuffed it up with fine sandpaper and painted it. Not bad for a driveway job.
