I will be installing a cat-less long tube header system this winter and was wondering about using header wrap. I have even heard of people using it on the entire system. I know its a shame to cover up the stainless but you really dont see much of the headers anyway. What do you think???
ceramic coating??? nicer looking than wrap, heat effective, won't blue like chrome, long lasting, nice looking outer appearance. just a few reasons to consider it. if you're going to go to the trouble of thinking about using some type of wrap, consider it (just my opinion).
IMO unless your running a boosted application then its really not needed.....unless said manufacturer says to. Most popular vette headers dont require or even recommend it for resons other fellow members have stated.
