No profile filled out, no mention of what car you have. It is too hard to calculate with no information.
Still, it doesn't matter, you aren't going to win the argument based on the weight of her clothes. (or any other reason for that matter)
More an issue of space than weight. When we travel it's one small bag, roll type each. She has amazed me, it use to be two bags for a weekend trip, now its the one small bag and she always looks great.

Very nice comments......when my wife and I married, she was a 36C,
Now she is a 39 long. Been dying to use that line.

Got more nerve than I have!!Hope she doesn't look at the forum!! We are two full sized adults, I'm 6'2" 245,,and we have a 2000 FRC,,and use soft bags and pack every inch and nook and cranny with NO problems!! I think the gross vehicle weight ratings are always on the very conservative side,,to avoid problems!!Unless she is including the weights from your work out room,,,load space will be your limiting factor.Don't think you can overload with cloths,,unless you have lead lined luggage!! These are great road cars for travel!!
Haha I hope she doesn't see the forum as well but yes just as itzza427 said if you use soft bags and pack it all up you should perfectly fine! Have fun on your Corvette Trip
I've put five bags of rocks in there with no problems regarding weight. Each bag is about 50 lbs. Some lay over the false panel some sit higher up towards the waterfall.
