I dont have a red vette but have seen many and it looks nice. Go as dark as possible. If you dont you will always wish you had. Good luck.

One thing you want to watch out for are the dots at the top of the rear window. 90% of the jobs I see (both vettes and others) there are at least some bubbles up there. There are many options regarding how to deal with them and a lot of threads that cover those subjects. My advice is to make sure you talk to your installer and find out what he plans to do to make it look the best. If he doesn't know what your talking about walk away and find a better installer.
Oh, and one more thing. Time of day/angle/light really make a difference to what the tint looks like. From the side facing the sun the windows look much darker than the picture above. Also the black interior makes the tint look darker than 35%.

yea u would certinly be pulled over for that tint here in the sunshine state the most u can go here is 28% its not nothing u might as well save your money...
Snapped a couple quick pictures awhile back. 10% tint all the way around. Have had the tint for about a year and (knock on wood) have never been pulled over here in Missouri and the legal limit is 35% on the sides.

35% is what's legal here in NC. From what I understand, it's unlikely LEO would pull you over simply for tint. However, should you be unfortunate enough to be pulled over for any other reason - get ready to have an "add-on" to your ticket. For me, it's not worth it, went with 35%.
Haha....I had them originally on the car, red, and didn't like the look at all. So I had them painted black to see if it would help at all before I just pulled them off completely. Still not a huge fan especially in pictures so once she's in the garage for the winter they will probably be coming off for good.
But to the person that asked I will put some other pics up later.
thanks, il keep that in mind. your car looks good. it sits at a nice stance..was it a pain to lower your car?
here is a pic of my vette..u can see a big difference in comparison. mine sits much higher. i think this is guna be my next project
Thanks. Lowering is really easy. Ton of threads explaining how. I went with longer bolts in the rear and removed the bushings in the front. If you were in my area it would take us about an hour to do the whole car. Less if you wanted to lower on stock bolts (keep bushing in the front).
