I took the 63 out for a spin tonight.....kicked her in the butt real good for you. I hadn't ran her like that in a few years...it was a blast. I will think of you as you fight, and may good things come to you.
The last 1/3 of my working life was in the Radiology Dept. of the St.Louis V.A. Hospital,,and witnessed first hand the battle you are now engaged in!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!! I admire the grace and courage with which you are facing your own mortality. I too wish to thank you for reminding us to appreciate the life that we have left!! Each day is truly a gift that we often take for granted. It sounds as if you have made your preparations,,and may love and peace fill your remaining days!! I too will be pulling for you and will also give her a romp for you as well. We have a little in common,,I have a Blue 69-427 4speed(a little rough, but still fun) and a 2000 FRC,,so Will think of you particularly when I fiddle with the old one!! Hang in there and make the most of what you have left!!

NEVER give up. Life is ALWAYS worth fighting for. GOD is the ultimate healer as long as there is breath in your lungs Mike you can ask GOD for healing, he is real and quick to help those that believe in and love him.
God bless you and may all these posts give you hope.
Mike, I never had the pleasure of knowing you unfortunately. I hope and pray that God heals you of all your illness. In the mean time I punch the pedal daily and now you have given me a better reason to do so. I hope that one day I will have the chance to meet you. I will be thinking of you often.
As said previously Wayne...God is the ultimate healer and in Him miracles happen daily. I pray that today is the day for yours. I will pray for you and your family....and when I get her back on the road I will give her good hard romp on that loud pedal.
Blessings
Mike, I want you to know that you are not alone. I have Renal Cell cancer in my right kidney and I'm going to Sloan-Ketering this tuesday to figure out what's the best choice for me to take but the kidney is gonna have to come out. At least partially. Me and another CF member always say. "Dont give up, Don't ever give up". Keep your sprites high Mike.

I don't know you,Mike, and I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now,but you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm taking the Vette out to my favorite Mountain road on Sunday morning. We'll make some noise for you.
Hang in there,man....
Mike, Hang tough dear friend.
Ten years ago my mother was diagnosed with melanoma which eventually spread to her lung (stage 4) After surgery she was told that even with chemo she had about six months. She passed on the chemo. She's still alive and kickin' today when all her doctors wrote her off long ago. You keep fighting and we'll keep praying. Even if you lose your battle, you will help win the war against this terrible disease. One day there will be a cure. It will not happen without the noble struggle of those who have gone before.
May God bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time.
The Vette in the garage will be dusted off and whomped on this weekend. Bet on it.
Keep praying. Don't give up. Please don't give up. We who are "ok" draw strength from your expression of courage. You are a true example of what it means to be a "real man." You have my respect sir.
