We were driving to Eastern Tennessee to drive the Tail of the Dragon last Friday night and came upon a construction area (I40) where they has stripped the asphalt to prepare for repaving. The pavement was grooved and while traveling about 65mph the active handling suddenly cut out. The back end of our 2002 coupe broke loose for a second, I was able to catch it and when I looked at the DIC it displayed that the active handling had failed. After we got to our hotel, I shut off the engine and when I restarted it about a half hour later, the active handling had reset itself. It worked OK all day Saturday while driving the tail.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
