I had the c1214 code and the ABS and AH/TC icons and "service vehicle soon" were on.
Took the module off and sent it to ABSFixer. They made the repair and had it back to me in a week (total down time - although I drove it after I wrapped the pump and connectors). Installed it. Everything works great.
Thanks ABSFixer and CorvetteForum for telling me about them.
I do have a greater appreciation for the guys that work on cars all the time - getting those screws out and back in was a chore.
Congrats! I just did mine also last week. Installed Sunday afternoon. I used scotch tape to hold the middle 2 screws in place, then slid the module onto the ABS manifold. I could not see the screw heads but I managed to find them with the torx and got them started easily. Then I installed/started the bottom 2 screws next by hand. I could see the screw heads after I gt them started and was off and running. The top 2 are a breeze after that. I had more trouble with the GD air bridge/air filter box. I keep loosing the little plastic air bridge holders down the front. I had to pull the air bridge three times and chase those damn things before I got it right.
I'm 58 (and a bit out of shape) and have not worked much on my own cars in quite awhile, until I got this vette. So this was fun and frustrating. I gotta learn to drink beer and turn a wrench at the same time again.
