I have a low mileage, mint condition 2004 where the vinyl on the armrests are starting to pull away. I guess this is common, however it still pisses me off considering how well I've taken care of the car.
Anyway, in answer to your question, you may want to check with a local mod or upholstery shop. I want to swap out/change my all black interior for some mod red trim. Since my door vinyl is pulling away, I want to repair the doors first. The shop I'm talking with told me they can completely re-upholster the doors by removing and installing new vinyl in both black and red. So that's one option. I'm sure others will chime in with some home-made remedies.
