Is the Vette really THAT BAD in the snow? I only ask, because based on what I've seen on this forum I'm seriously considering getting a used A4 quattro or Jeep Cherokee.
I have Conti DWS' on the car and although last winter was really bad, it's certainly not the norm.
Yeah, It's going to dip to 48 degrees here in SE Pennsylvania. I washed the Corvette last week, and their calling for a warm up this weekend so I can squeeze in a wax job before the real winter sets in. Kinda early this year. Usually we don't get any snow till the middle of December, but last year we got dumbed on. But the forecast is for a lighter snow season. I hate snow, I got a nice little DD, but I hate to hang up the corvette keys for 2010. You guys in florida, I got a VooDoo doll all ready for you !

I grew up in the Minneapolis area and and drove Corvettes for over 20 years up there and never once put any of them away for the winter.
My first two were a 53 and a 57 fuelie when I was in high school and drove both of them through the winter with no problem.
