My car is full of Creative Engine Covers Products as a matter of fact I just purchased there Chrome Hood hinges!! They are a little expensive but well worth the money and are the best!! The show quality is unbelievable and is unmatched to any other Chrome out there.
I have had no problem with the heat from the engine changing the color or anything like that.
Like anything else you have to still be careful what you wipe the chrome down with and designate one clean micro fiber towel just for the chrome.
Pat with American Hydrocarbon also has started selling some Chrome and may be less expensive. I would check with him and see what pieces he has than get the rest from CEC.
I highly recommend either place, but the one thing you will notice is there is nothing compared to real Chrome. Its like night and day!!
Chrome is the way to go,it looks better,I have many of the CEC chrome pieces under the hood on my car.You can't go wrong with Chrome. SS is not an option. IMO

I bought a bunch of their covers for my wife's '01. They were great to deal with, and the quality is outstanding. I had one piece that had a blemish, and they sent a new one out right away with no questions.
The heavy gauge metal is sooooo much better than the flimsy stuff. They aren't cheap, but in this case you really do get what you pay for.
