Default HID in high beams?

I'm going to install Depos. I'm going HID on the lows. Should I go for them on the highs too? If not, why? (Other than not being able to quickly flash them).

Not necessary, HID's in the low beams are plenty bright for me. I have ACA popup projector headlights and have HID's in both the lows and highs with radioflyers wire harness that allows them to be on at the same time. To tell you the truth, I never use the high beams, ever. Sometimes I turns them on just see if they work, but the HID warm-up time makes them kinda useless unless you plan on driving with them on for a long time like on an empty desert highway.

I was just thinking of swapping the HID's out for some HIR halogen's that I have sitting around.

I have HIDs in my bright lights. It takes them about 10 seconds to warm up, but when they do, they light up the world! Did you see all the bright light last night around 10:00 PM? That was me!

I'm not sure how the depos are wired, but if the lows do not stay on with the highs I wouldn't suggest it because of the warm up time of HIDS.

I agree. I have the same set up and installed Silverstars for the high beams. If I really want more light for an extended time, I turn on my HID fogs. Combined with my HID lows, I have plenty of light. More than I did with the OEM halogen highs.

Also, by keeping the highs halogen, I can flash to pass.

I agree - HID high beams are not necessary

I run HID's in lows, highs, and fogs with all on with high. Love it as I live out in the sticks get to use all on often, as a matter of fact can I get HID's for the DRL's?
