Headlight help needed

Default Headlight help needed

My pax side headlight it not going all the way down to make it flush it's a bout 1/4 of an inch high and my drivers side is flush. Any Ideas??

Could be the gear is starting to strip or the motor is going out. I had the same issue but mine was on the driver side. Do you hear any funny noises when it closes? Mine closed then would pop back up about 1/4 way up. It ended up being the rubber stop in the link I posted wore down due to the glue on the new motor not holding and pushing the stop out.

Sometimes the torx screws that hold on your painted cover gets a little loose and the cover gets out of alignment. Remove the black plastic shroud and there are two torx screws (one on each side). Loosen them up and adjust the painted cover so it should lay flat. 1/4" isnt that much so you should be able to adjust it this way no problem. Give it a shot and let me know if this helps....Good luck!
