To all haters: I just got the back back from the shop. I love my corvette it worth every pennies. Who cares if Lamborghini doesn't come with them or with them. Many stock cars does come with anything like spoiler, carbon fiber, turbo, DVD player etc. Why do you guys buy them and install them on your car? My only reason was because i like it and i think it's unique.

There are those out there who are into goats, chickens, and other farmyard luvin.
People may tell you it's immoral and wrong but who are they to tell you how to live your life?
If you want to be "unique" and get lambo doors, because god knows NO ONE has ever done that before, then go for it.
Like screwing goats and fat women will people make fun of you for it and tell you how wrong, sick and disgusting it is? Well YES.
But in the end it's what get's you off that counts right?

I'm also interested in the installation and quality of the door hinges.
$500 and under looks like a good price instead of the $1200-$2100 I have seen for some of the other ones. Always seemed to much to pay for two hinges and strut......before I get bashed, I do understand about quality and reliance. But the other higher prices seem more like a FAD PRICE.

Funny since I'm 20 and I think they look like poo! And both of my cars have won awards with out ricer doors?!?! I'll be honest though if it wasn't for all the rappers and kids in civics with them, basicly making um look like trash they would prolly be cool but once again ricers ruin the parade!! There are car enhancements like navi systems that increase the value of the car, and also update it. Then there is things that hurt the value of vettes one of those is lambo doors the other is fat chicks on the hood!

I don't know much about Lambo doors but I've heard enough to know that for what you paid for them you're going to experience trouble with them in the future. Corvettes weren't designed and built to have Lambo doors. You can't fool mother nature nor General Motors.

Do what you want then, the worlds full of aholes and opinions, when you put it out on the forum expect to get a bit of both.. don't knock the feedback, keep an open mind and don't expect much from forums. Remember these are strangers responding to your question, not friends, not family, but we are all fellow vette lovers, so you will get strong feelings about the C5.. chill and get on with your install..if your happy that's all that matters...
