I started a thread about this a few years ago and was told that the best way to go about it was to install a hitch receiver on the space between the exhaust pipes and use a hitch-type bike rack.
I decided to just drive to my destination and rent a tandem bike for the wife and I.
Unless things have changed, you won't find many more options than that.

If you have a vert or a frc you can put the bike in the trunk by taking the wheels off sounds like a pain but it would look alot better than an ulgy trailer hitch or bike rack vettes are sports cars if you wanna carry a bike buy a civic and get a roof rack.

Yeah, because he can't enjoy Vette ownership AND ride a bike, right? 'Cause the Vette's a sportscar, dang it! bagohammers...
OP, if you can take the wheels off, you can get it into the hatch. I didn't try to take off the back wheel from my bike, so I decided not to take it. Worked out for me because my wife was 4 months preggars and couldn't ride her own bike anyway. Let us know what you figure out!

I ment go and buy a cheap beater civic or geo or somthing for like under 1k and use it to haul the bikes around. Why ruin a vette with that crap? I ride bikes too but I would never consider putting a bike that could scratch the paint near my car, let alone on it.
