Default Mileage OCD

My wife thinks I should not ask this question out of risk of embarrassing myself, but I will anyway.

Do any of you track or note or record mileage milestones? Ok, I may be OCD or something but I took a picture of the odometer when it flipped to 20k. I know where I was when it went to 22222 and today I got a shot of the odometer reading 23456. Do I need help?

I always take the picture but never end up keeping it lol, My Z06 turned 10k, other than that no milestones as it has 13k now, but 12345 would have been cool.

It is your car, do whatever the hell you want and tell the wife she doesn't get it, and she doesn't need to. All she needs to do is understand YOU.

My wife loves me and doesn't understand. She humors me with the cars because she knows how passionate I am. In exchange I cut her some slack when she curbs the SUVs polished rims and gets her beetle stuck on a median curb after running over the median.

Yep, I pulled over at 100,000... JUST to get a picture. I was only about a mile from where I was going, too.

I took a pic of the odo on my Isuzu at 222,222 but that is the only time I've done anything like that.

I pay attention to mileage milestones too, and get a kick out of them! Yes I'm easily amused, and proud of it!

I guess for certain milestones in the mileage of the car I would do the same. Haven't hit one of those yet though.

Well,,I'm somewhat OCD too. I haven't taken pics of miles,,but I DO try to see the odometer roll over certain milestones,,might try a pic when I roll over 100K. That said,,I AM OCD on keeping track of MPG!!I do it on every vehicle I've ever owned!! Goes back to my first car,,an old 59 VW bug. They had NO gas gauge,,just a reserve lever on the floor board(You BETTER remember to switch back when you gassed up). Keeping track of the odometer miles and estimating mpg ,,you would know when you were getting close to needing gas without going on reserve. That and in the old days of points and coil ignition,,dropping MPG indicated time for a tune up,,about 10-15k in those days!!Old habits die hard!! I know that it isn't necessary with these cars,,not going to change my driving habits ,,but I do it anyhow!!Have a book and pocket calculator,,and all fill ups are documented and calculated. OH WELL,,we all have our little quirks!!
