cd won't eject from player located in the dash

cd won't eject from player located in the dash

Anybody got any tips on how to get the cd to eject from the player. It seems like it goes through the cycle in the ejection mode, but I can't even see the cd through the slot while it's in the player, thanks if anybody has any info.

is it a home made cd with a label?

if it is the glue gets hot and melts enough for a part of the label to turn over and get stuck in player.

If by chance you can grab the disc with needle nose pliers, hemostats, roach clip ... look in with a flash light ...

grab and yank it out - you'll wreck the disc but if lucky, you'll get it

or take the head unit out and disassemble ...

sometimes my boat cd player eats them & I BANG the heck out of it during eject and it will spit it out ...
