Default scheduled maintenance

I'm looking at buying a Z16 with ~53k miles. Friend of mine here at work was thinking there was a big expense at 60k. I'm guessing he's wrong but...

Is the scheduled maintenance posted on the web somewhere?

It is probably on the web somewhere but I have not looked at it. From my 2002 Z06 owners manual the scheduled maintenance is something like this:
Change oil and filter when DIC says to or before.
Clean air filter at 15000 miles and replace at 30000. Continue this pattern every 15000 miles.
Replace cooling system fluid at 100,000 or 5 years, whichever is first.
Replace the spark plugs and wires at 100,000 miles.
So from this you would need a new air cleaner at 60000 miles. Not too big of an expense, assuming your car is stock.

I would Do (i also just did on my Z16). Everyone has a preference on Fluid types but here is what i would do/Check and what i used.
* Coolant (Prestone Extended Life Dex-Cool -2 gal 50/50)
* Diff Service (Valvoline Synth Power 75W90 w/ LSD add. -2 qts)
* Oil Change (Moblie 1 / Purolator Pure 1 Filter)
* Trans Fluid Change (Valvoline Dex III or OEM MTF -4.5-5 qts)
* Brake system flush (valvoline Synth Dot 3/4 -(1) 32oz & (1) 12oz)
* Clutch fluid change (ranger method, DOT 3 Valvoline)
* Serpentine Belt
* Air Filter (Clean/oil if K&N)

And always have the vehicle inspected by a trust worthy mechanic... Look at break pads, Ball joints, Oil leaks, Tire depth, previous service (all great ways to negotiate on the price... if all the services are not done). My front and rear brakes needed replaced at 30K miles. I replaced front rotors with Power Slot rotors and rears i just turned, then replaced F&R pads with Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads, stop good and very little dust compared to stock Z06 pads.
