Broken shift boot ring

I was wondering where i might be able to get a new shift boot with ring or just a shift boot ring without going to the dealership. Mine is broken completely and it looks like there is a piece missing out of it. It was like that when i bought it. Thanks

That part is not available as far as I know. Broke mine several years ago and used some duct tape for repair. You can check with Gene Culley here on the forum.

Found my ring busted up too when I bought it. I go creative with some black duct tape and some tender loving care. You will be surprised what you can do with a little time, duct tape and maybe some thin wood from Home Depot or Hobby Land.

If you need additional income, make up about 1,000 of those shifter boot retaining rings for sale. Ask about $9.95 plus s&h for them.

You'll sell them all...
