Yes
do not buy it
it does not fit correctly
OBX started sending out garbage for product. I was selling the OBX products for a couple years.I have one of the first sets of headers and love them.

The catback systems have a couple issues
one
the tips are now completely different than what is actually advertised.
two
the catback will not fit correctly. The muffler will hang 4 inches below your car. The bends are not right.
I had a customer who bought the catback and we had to have him go to a local exhaust shop to get it repaired to fit correctly

sad thing is the customer told me it sounded amazing.

The Headers
of the last handfull i shipped
the passenger sid efitment was not that great. We also had 3 people with the 02 sensor bungs messed up and the 02 sensors would fit into them

I dropped OBX from my product line because of the horrible customer service and the fact that when there is a problem they do not want to stand behind the product.

The ricer crowd might not care about quality and correct fitment but I wouldnt stand for it for any of my customers.

Its sad as they started out with something really nice for the money and then had to mess up a good thing

Anyone want more info send me a PM

Dennis

Sorry to scare you. I think you have had yours for awhile now. If so you should be fine. The headers were great until recently. I only had a couple bad ones and that was abend on the passenger side was causing the header to angle up toward the floorboard. Thier idea of a fix was send it back and they would send out a replacement. Well the replacement was the same way.

The catback I wouldnt wish on anyone.

The headers I would actually consider offering. BUt OBX and the horrible customer they offer not only to me but a customer of mine ruined it for me offering thier products.

I just wont stand for it and offer something I know has issues just to make a buck or two. I would not do that to you guys.

They wont do anything if they have been on the car Jim and the car has been started/run

They would have wanted your second set back for repair or replacement

I remember when that happened. I had DYNATECH LTs then and I am getting ready to put those on my 2003 ZO6, so I am a firm believer of sticking with what has worked well and provided great workmanship.

LGs
ARHs
DYHATECH

These have all been good to me and my buddies, so I rank them in this order for quality design and fit!

They probably needed to make more profit off each set. They already screwed themselves on pricing so all they could do is make a cheap set of headers even cheaper.

I have spent over $35,000 in modifications on my cars over the last ten years. The one very tough lesson I have learned is you get what you pay for.

Sound wise, the OBX sounds pretty good. As others have said the fitment of their products weather it be headers or catback isn't consistent. Some had no problems while others needed to make some adjustments.
