Bad Ground?

Thanks.
Id make sure
- the battery was in good shape (reads 12.6 volts with a meter across the terminals when not connected to the car, dont go by what the DIC says, when off its not the actual voltage on the battery and when running its the voltage called for by the alternator) and that the connections to the battery were all in order (terminals to 11 lb/ft, cables ok).
- the wireing that goes through the door accordian on either side was in good shape (just pull back the accordion when you open the door and ensure no wires are frayed or shorting out).
and that
- the two ground packs under the hood on the frame rails (you can see them by opening the hood and looking on the large frame member that goes towards the front of the car, they will be right on top by the hood support towards the front of the car, a wide black plug with wires going in one side and a lug screwed directly into the frame rail on the other end). Seperate the plug and look to see that the connections inside are not corroded.
I cant say that what Ive written directly addresses your specific problem but I can say that one or more of those things is often the case in many threads describing problems similar to yours.
Good luck.
