Default 18/19 rims

Guys,

I was just offered a great deal on some 18x9 and 19x9.5 wheels. I was planning on going 19/20 setup, I wanted to see if anyone who is running a 18/19 wheel setup can post some pics and let me know what size tires you are running. I am lowered on bolts but I am afaraid that gap will be too large.

Thank you in advanced,
Javi

I personally would not go with 18x9 and 19x9.5. Your tire choices will be limited with those wheels. I run 18x9.5 and 19x11. with 275 fronts and 305 rears. I am scared of 19/20 set up due to the reduced sidewall. Do a search on Munky and you should see a couple recent pics of my car.

I had the same question for the 19/20 set up and got a lot of great pictures. Here my link for the 19/20 setup lowered on stock bolts. I have a buddy that's on a 19/19 set up lowered on stock bolts and it looks good. I say his 19/19 and my 19/20 side by side our cars are at the same height almost. Not a big gap at all.

Stock bolts only lowered only in the back not quite all the way down. My driveway will not support me lowering the front.

I took a couple more of the wheel well so you can see the gaps.

That's not bad at all. I'm 1 3/4 on the back and 1 7/8 on the front lowered all the way on stock bolts with a 19/20 set up.

Not the best picture on 19/20 so you can compare the two cars. Only problem I can see is Benjiusn vet is white. With the tires and the gap if you look at it from a distance it looks like there more space. Great to have those measurement pictures. That helps.

BTW clean looking Vert Ben... I lowered my car two weeks ago all the way down and already hate driving it into my drive way. Going to get the fangs in the next couple of weeks.

Here are the two sets of wheels that I have now:

SSR GT-2 18"x9.5" & 19"x10.5"
Lowered on Stock bolts

CCW 505a's 18"x10" & 19"x11.5"
Lowered on Pfadt Coilovers

Tires on both sets of rims are 275/35/18 & 305/30/19
Personally, I prefer the look of the 19"/19" set-up. I would have chosen 19's all-around if I didn't get smokin' deals on my wheels.
My next set of rims will be 19"/19"

275/35/18 and 305/30/19, wheels are 18x10 & 19x11.5

I prefer the staggard look 18/19 offers.

Here's my CCW's, 18 front and 19 rears. Tires are 275x35x18 front and 305x30x19 rear. The 305's stick out a bit from the rear fender that I don't like so I'd do something narrower on the rears if I had a choice.
