Keep in mind you can only start a new Thread in the main directory of each sections, Like General, C5 Parts for sale and so an.
Click this link and see if you have "NEW THREAD" just above the threads section. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-general-103/

I remember parades. I drove a new tractor in our small town parade about 10 years back. Kids running out in front of my tractor to get candy that the freak in front of me was throwing, good times.
Coincidentally, that is how I got the Corvette fever to begin with. In 1963, I was a senior in high school, working part time for the local agent for North American Van Lines. My boss arranged for me to drive a new Corvette in the Christmas parade, chauffering some city dignitary. It became one of my most cherished memories of my senior year. It all started with that Christmas parade in '63.
Here in LA there is a festival just about every week.Everything from Mardi Gras, shrimp, crawfish, duck, cotton, yam, boudin, cracklin,Festival International, omlette, rice, cattle,Jass Fest. and the list goes on and on! We love to party!
To answer your question, these are bullfrogs.Fried frog legs are on every seafood platter.
The meat is fairly white in color and the taste is a little like chicken. It is good. These legs are 6 to 8 inches long. They even have frog races. Google bullfrogs Rayne LA

wlaver some people just don't understand our good ole Culture..
I drove Miss Carson Valley in my 62 a couple of years ago. She got third in the Miss Nevada contest. What a hottie! She loved that car! That's why I bought it. A real chick magnet. Of course I was married, fat and bald. I guess I should have gotten the car 30 years earlier. My 4 door 61 Falcon I had in high school never got any parade requests that I can remember. Of course this was back in the 70's. I don't think it would get that many today, now that I think about it. Oh well. I think i'd rather be old, fat, bald and married with a corvette, than young, dumb and full of ......... well, you get the picture. Yes, parades can be fun.
