Well boys and girls, I finally cured my fiberglass itch. After growing up around Corvettes since day one, I've always one and it was about time I pulled the trigger on one. The GTO was a great car but I definately wanted more of a sports car where as the GTO was more of a GT sort of car, nice, comfy and quick. The FRC I picked up is a 2000 and it had 40,069 miles on it when I had picked it up. The story is that a 72 year old bought it new and had traded it in. I really didn't believe that story the salesman gave me over the phone until I saw the car! The interior is absolutely flawless as is the exterior except for some swirls and some curb rash on the wheels. I was really surprised when I saw a FRC with the magnesium wheels, wasn't even sure that they were an option on the hard tops but it turns out that there were 138 FRCs in 2000 that had them. I'm definately enjoying the car!
Thanks! Got my first wave from a guy in a 59' or 60', way cool! I wave whenever I see another Vette. After growing up around Corvettes, it was only a matter of time before I pulled the trigger!
Is there any way to find out how many Torch Red FRCs were made in 2000 with the magnesium wheels? I know you can figure out how many TR FRCs were made in 2000 and how many FRCs in 2000 came with the magnesium wheels, but not combining the color, body style and wheels.

I'm not sure if the museum can get that kind of info for you or not but that's all I can think of.

I LOVE the mag wheels, good to know I'm not the only one sick enough to speak RPO codes! I'd love to see a white or Nassau Blue FRC with them, I bet they'd look great!
Thanks! According to that link, there is one other car exactly like mine, we're talking down to every single option not just color, wheels and body style. Pretty cool to know!

The bronze color of the wheels would accent any color on the Vette chart.
I wanted a convertible but when I spotted this baby with super low mileage... I had to have it.
I attempted to force myself to keep the hardtop as close to stock as possible but when a member here started a group buy with ACI for their AWF740 rear spoiler I weakened.
Now continue filling out your profile (like what part of the US you live in) and get some photos in an album.
