These are not plastic caps.......not even close....Nothing plastic about them (read the description )

I know what you are talking about as we actually had the manufacturer of them ask us to carry their product years ago and gave them a try but were not impressed.

Let's put it this way, we have sold hundreds, if not thousands of these over the years and have NEVER, EVER had a return. Not even ONE. Pretty bold of me to post this in an open forum, eh? If someone out there has returned one, they would quickly to prove me wrong (you know how the forums work ) and post otherwise....

Never a return, that is pretty good.......If they were a waste of money and cheap plastic caps, I would expect at least one person would of posted a negative comment or returned them, wouldn't you?

Thanks,

Jim

Default how do you get them off with out damaging them?

Can you tell me how you can remove them. I have the magnetic ones.
and had to remove one last year and could not get that to pop off without damaging it.
I ended up damaging it and got a replacement except it was the style with the tips that pus in the key hole.

Thanks
Steve c.

Did you get them from us? They come with directions on how to remove. In short, any metal object will pull them out, just wrap a paper towel or something around it so it will not damage the paint.

Thanks,

jim

Do they seal the opening from the elements? If the car was to be washed, would water build up inside?

Not completely....you can still get water behind them if you spray it right in the edges. Pretty good protection from the elements but not total protection.

Also does not seal so tight that moisture cannot get out....it can still breath behind the cover...

I am interested but I didn't see dark bowling green metallic in the list of colors. I mean you have ALL the other colors, even the special rare ones.
