Driver side window making bad noisep
Driver side is making a creaking crunching sound when going up and down, I took door panel off and it's quiet when going up and down,Tracks and cables look fine when I put the door panel back on it makes the creaking crunching grinding sound,and a small section of felt is bit worn on the top of the door panel where it slips into the groove it sits in.any ideas?

that makes sense, probably why the window gets stuck about half way down as it's making the noise, so maybe it's a peice of frayed cable, i will have to look into some more...thanks

The steel cable winds around the center of the regulator/motor assembly and essentially a large loop. There is really little you can do to repair it without unwinding this cable and somehow get a new wound back in there exactly the same.
