I am thinking about these for my c5 Z since I will be running sticky tires to auto cross and I want to keep stones from hitting the paint work. Which units work best and how do they mount? Io hate things that need drilling.
I used a set of C6 splash gaurds front and rear. You just have to do some dremel work on them to get the correct fit. Double face tape and a screw at the bottom will work to keep them on and in place. The rear's you can use the stock inner fender fastners to hold them in place along with the double face tape.

Those are the GM accesory guards for regulars C6's correct? I was toying with the idea of doing them on my black Z06 too. They look really good on your car. Anymore pictures?
Yes they are for regular C6's. I tried taking pictures and they just blend in with the car. It's surprising how many people, even Corvette people, ask me if they are factory.

:too much work, with the work that has to be done to the Z6 splashes, there are two co. that have the Z6 look for the C5 and work and look like they were made for the car. 1st. co. located in South Lyon Michigan,(Lewis5motorworks) 1-248-763-9697, they only make them in matt black and only in fiber glass.$ 139x2=278.00 2nd. co. is in New York. www.apsisusa.com (1-800-682-7747) there price 197.50x2=395.00, they will paint them to your color, extra cost. they also make them in carbon, but do not know the price for the carbon splashes.

After talking with Lewis5motorsports, they recommend drilling into the car to help keep the splash guards in place. That has kept me from buying their product to this point. Have looked briefly at the APsis ones, but the price is pretty steep for a splash guard set.
Wish some vendor would come up with a set of nice looking splash guards that mounted using factory screws so you didn't have to drill into the car.
