It's kinda tuff to impress me with a car after racing and owning one of the fastest production bikes on earth or being a Tank Commander and blasting across terrain at full speed in 63 tons of armored steel, moving and shoot'in.
BUT, I'm having too much fun in this C5....EVERYDAY I turn the key and floor the gas pedal!
Dang this IS LIVING and I LOVE IT!!!!

Whoo Hoo! Driv'in fast and burn'in gas! I took the wife on a high speed run to Richmond yesterday. While it was 2 1/2 hours (one way) of I95 interstate driv'in, it was still fun. Not as fun as the twisty mountain roads I like. It was warm enough to drop the top for a while. These things are fun to drive. Even just running to get the groceries.
Yesterday, a few of our Corvette club members were invited to another larger club event sponsored by the San Jacinto Corvette Club. It was the first event of that kind I ever attended and running the backroads in a very long line of Corvettes(maybe 30-40?) at a VERY brisk pace was exhilarating to say the least. My girlfriend and I had a blast!

with ya!
The Vette has been a great stress reliever for me in earlier years… as well as presently.
I even get a thrill out of standing next to it while I assist an attractive long legged date into the cockpit for her first buckle-up.

Sounds like a great event! I'll mark the calendar and RSVP! I'll inform the other East Texas Corvette Club members!

Not quite as much of a rush as having rounds crackin' over your head in a firefight.
