I drive my vert even in winter for very cool topless sunny days - not a DD - was 36 degrees yesterday & Blue Sky - top down - windows down - & heat way UP - actually not cold if you stay off the highway
(I mean when the roads have no snow or ice - between storms)
The few days a month I go topless is like a mini vacation in the frozen tundra
Christmas tradition here....okay so it's not Christmas yet....and not freezing either....but take the car out, put the top down/heater turned up and look at all the Christmas lights here in Sacramento
One of my favorite things about my vette is going topless. Never tried it in 36 degree weather though. Coldest I've done it is around 45 degrees which is no big deal.
Well I'll give ya a big ATTA BOY,,just for not storing it all winter like most!! Mines an FRC,,so topless isn't even an option!! I do however drive mine all the time as long as there isn't general snow cover on the road. An occasional patch here or there no problem!! Must add our winters are not as severe as yours,,so here's to ya!!
I drive my vert topless in the winter although in Fla. its not a big deal.
But we have driven another vert in almost 20 degree weather. We lived in Germany and I bought an 88 BMW. I got it running and roadworthy (it had been wrecked) and it was the middle of December when I did. Well, we just HAD to enjoy the top down cruising as it was our first vert so the top and windows went down, heat on HI and the wife bundled up like she was going on an Everest expedition.
Only rode around about 5 miles until our fingers and toes were numb but a GREAT memory as it was almots 15 years ago now!
Windows up or down who cares...I do the same thing sometimes and yes staying off highway at 34 degrees or lower is much better.......I don't store it I use it all winter as long as the roads are dry ...I mean why crap it up for no reason right. I change the oil in Dec. and use it a few times through out the winter...
Great looks you get too when in 30's and you have top down....
Install heated seats for $149 for two. An easy install even with the seats in the car as the seat backs unzip to allow install. Bottoms a little harder but not difficult.

If we get a chinook, and the roads are free of ice and snow the Top is down and go for a little cruise. The coldest yet is 32 F need to get heated seats.
