How'd you get your car high enough off the ground?

However, for that last couple of hp they would provide I would have over $1k left over (using XS Power) that I can easily get a cam with or do something else. Do you plan on other mods?
+1 for LG Pros, but Kooks and ARH also have a quality product. To coat them or not is another subject of intense debate. I didn't and have no issues. You can install the LG x-pipe and hi-flow cats, maintain the O2 sensors and stay emissions compliant (if that's important) and still pick up over 30HP with stock Ti exhaust.
Good luck.

What's the model # of your 4/2/1 CARB legal shorties? I don't see them on your website.

The part number for the carb legal shorty headers is FCOR-0250 (1997-199), FCOR-0255 (2000), and the FCOR-0257 (2001-2004)

Thanks

My understanding was, for std. C5 only, not Z06/LS6 approved under CARB EO#. Has this changed?

1997 through 2004 model-year Corvettes, excluding those under test groups 2GMXV05.7082, 3GMXV05.7082, and 4GMXV05.7082 with Z06 models.

It doesn't have to be overly high to do headers. Removing the stock Ti catback is a different story.

The answer to your question lies in where you want to end up. If you think you'll end up with a wild head/cam setup or a supercharger then go with LG Pros or one of the other premium long tube headers like ARH. On the other hand, if you think you're likely to end up with 500 RWHP or less then it's really hard to be LG Streets w/high flow cats and x-pipe. The factory Ti catback works great with this combination. You'll save anywhere from $500-$800 on a premium long tube setup, and you'll be thrilled with the results. Like someone else said, a good dyno tune is essential. Good luck with whatever you decide.
