anyone have them? I searched on the Audio section to no avail. I'm looking to drop a 12" sub in the middle bucket in the back of my C5 and need schematics or dimensions to make a sub box. need 1' of cubic space sealed enclosure. mounting depth is 7 3/8 inches, is that even possible?
I went with a 10 inch dual coil sub that worked really great. I just measured the top, bottom and sides and made a box out of MDF that would fit in the well. Maybe I lucked out, but it sounded really good.

how did you put the finishing touches on it? just hot glue some carpet to the top or what?
i was looking at the well today and taking mental notes, im stuck with this 12" so i have to make this work. it requires 1 cubic foot of space though, does anyone know how to measure the inside of a box with an irregular shape (to fit the well and also the speaker requirements)?

You can get it to work but the top won't be flush with the rest of the floor area. I used some black carpet and glued it to the MDF board, or you can just paint it black which would look good too. One thing you could do to figure one cubic foot is to find a box that is one foot by one foot by one foot, fill it with packing peanuts, pour the peanuts into your sub box and see if it fills up your sub box. It beats doing the math.

That sub will require a box that has a volcano type raise to it. The way the magnet structure is on that sub it will not fit in a stealth or a hangover box. Even if you did add a riser to a hangover box, it would not look right because it would need almost a 2" riser to even work. If you are dead set on that sub, the only way I would go would be to get a fiberglass box with a volcano type rise to it. That way it will also give you the much needed airspace that the sub calls for.
