I believe that the coolant pipe is the one that goes over the top of the intake manifold and I have heard that it is a source of venting trapped air in the cooling system. Is that correct?? If yes, how is it done? With the engine running? With the coolant hot? Can the pipe joint at the drivers side just be loosened. Who has done this and knows the procedure?
Now that I have had a second look, it appears that the pipe that I was looking at is in fact a fuel line. So now we all know that Mr. Bill is totally and completely full of BS and is not to be taken seriously ever again. Goodbye Mr. Bill

The cross over pipe is in the front from 1 head to the other, I am not full of bs as you think, You just don't know your car or what you are doing... Simple... The fuel line is in the center over the intake and goes to the injectors and not the heads... Do you understand that?

You are one rude person, I gave you good info and because you don't know a water line from a fuel line it is my fault, I think not......You better go and buy a set of service manuals...
I was pulling your leg Mr. bill. I thought that you were telling me to go ahead and loosen the line over the intake and imagine how surprised that I would be when gasoline at high pressure sprayed out thus playing on my mis-identificaton of the correct line. I have since located the correct line with the help of a flash light in my dark garage and will do as you instructed when the weather gets better. Truce!!
