I have searched the forum and didn't find anyone else with this problem in the past.
I keep having to replace my turn signal / DRL bulb on the passenger side. The DRL filament is fine and works but the turn signal filament keeps going bad. I have been through 3 bulbs in the last 2 months and they are all the same thing> The DRL works but the turn signal doesn't.
I would be looking at the lamp connections for burning/burnt sockets. Are you sure you get using the correct lamp? I had this issue in my '99 some years ago till I saw in the owner's manual that I was actually using the wrong lamp. Yes, the replacement fit in there but it kept going bad. In my case, I should have been using 3157 NAK and it wasn't till I found that exact lamp, did the problems stop.

Well first off let me tell everyone that it is 100 times easier to raise the headlights, take the shroud off, and stick your arm through there to get to the lamps than going from underneath and fandangling the darn thing around. I don't have a lift so I was doing it blind the first 2 times.
I checked and I've been using the right lamps. Interestingly I found that the filament isn't what's going bad. What I actually found is that one of the wire connections on the bulb was burned up. Upon closer inspection I found that the socket that the bulb goes into is bad. It was rusted (I live down south by the Gulf) and one little piece broke and was touching. Really easy fix. Thank goodness it wasn't anything more.
What I found on my car was that the parklight housing it's self was cracked from the heat of the running light. When I would wash the car or hit a puddle of water it would blow the bulb. I removed the housing and sealed the crack with sealant and it fixed the problem. It was always the right side that gave me problems.

This is the most common cause for this problem.
Pull them and inspect. If you have a hole seal it up or buy some aftermarket lenses from us. Replace those stock bulbs with LEDS (we have those as well) and you won't have the problem again. Those stock bulbs get too hot.
