Our patent pending push/pull quick connect battery charger connection system. No more cords routed through open hatches, hoods, or windows.
An aviation grade "push/pull" connector/receptacle is mounted to a custom designed bracket. The receptacle/bracket assembly is fitted with the appropriate length of 14 AWG wire and attached to the license plate lamp housing. The negative wire is routed to a chassis ground and the positive wire is fitted with inline fuse protection and attached directly to the battery. Our connector is fitted to a six foot cord with an SAE 2 pin connector to attach to your battery trickle charger.
Kinda cool. I don't like have the connection in the back though. I don't back my car in the garage so it might be a bit of a pain to always have to plug the car in at the rear (ok, that sounded a bit wrong). Plus I'm forgetful so I'd sh** my pants if I forgot to unplug and backed out with it still connected! If you can make one that plugs in at the front, I'd be interested for sure!
Once the StealthLink bracket is attached, the wire loom is routed from the rear fascia, over the top of the right rear wheel well, and fed up the inside of the rocker panel to the battery compartment.
It's a very clean install and can be accomplished in 1.5 to 2 hours.
