Today I just installed a pair of Bride Gias look-a-like seats. Mark from Arizen helped out a lot with the process. There are some pros and some cons with these seats. You will gain a couple of inches of head room, you aren't going to fall out of your seat in a high speed corner, and in my opinion they are more comfortable than the stock seats. However, you will lose leg room with out modifying the brackets from Arizen and possibly the reclining **** that faces the inside of the car. You would not have to modify Arizen's seat bracket if you put bigger spacers on the bottom of the seat ot if you put spacers between the seat bracket and the seat rails. But if you put bigger spacers on, you would lose head room. These seats are not big man certified. A 34 inch waist is probably the comfortable limit, I'm not sure though. I'm 6'0" and have a 31 inch waist ad they are perfect for me. I luckily have the perfect amount of leg room while driving with the seat as far back as the brackets will allow it. Here are some pictures of the process. Thanks again to Mark at Arizen with helping me with the process. He is the one who told me what needed to be done to the seats to make them work. The quality of the seats isn't great, but it's deffinitely not bad. If you paid for the real Bride seats they would be top quality and lighter. These seats are quite a bit heaver than the stock seats too. Here are some pics.
The two bolts near the top on both sides of the seat need to come out to get the bottom of the seat off. I chose to leave the spacers that are above the rails to be able to have the seat slightly farther back. You can take them off to get more head room if you please.
The rails need to be moved to the inside holes to work with the seat brackets. I had to clean the back holes out because they are threaded.
To get the front nut off I wedged a screwdriver between it and the seat.
This is as far back as the seats will go with out modification. I will probably modify them later so the passenger can be more comfortable.
Thanks for the compliments. I just got back from an autocross event. The difference is amazing. Unfortunately I didn't have my r-compound tires to use today so I had to settle with street tires. I feel more connected to the car and more confident while entering a corner. With the stock seats I had to hold my self in the seat by the steering wheel, it was distracting to say the least. As for comfort, they aren't bad at all. Better than stock in my opinion. They are real tight around my legs, but they don't make my legs hurt like the stock seats did. Now that I have a break from school I will be doing some testing on how to get the seats to move farther back. I'll try to update this thread if anyone is that interested. And yes, that is the Stig in my avatar, haha.
Those look great! People always talk trash on the Bride replicas. It's hard to tell from pics but is there anything that you would say makes them lower quality than the real ones?

The red stitching just seems to be there, I don't think it does anything. The sliders do not slide as easily as the stock ones. And the **** that reclines the seats just seems cheap. They are worth the money in my opinion though.
Awesome looking seats. For a more "finished" look, did you consider powder-coating or even painting the metal brackets? They look a bit "jarring" to my eye -- and I typically like when form follows function.
Keep us posted on how long these last. I want proper seats but my car is a DD and I am on a limited budget. I may not be able to ever get what I want
