Yes true. Where the heck you think West Texas is?? Interstate 10 in Texas is approx 881 miles long and the portion of it that's 80 mph is out in the western section and is faaar from heavily populated areas. Even from SA, you gotta drive 80-100 miles to find the 80 mph zone. Good thing DPS is usually a bit lenient out there.

I think they allow it as a Border Security issue... it is harder for illegals to cross with the higher speed limit!
As a Chicago owner I am really hating you right now......... JK, ENJOY!!! I am having my whole interior done this winter season while the car is in storage. Guess it is all I can do.
Actually we have a lot in Texas(Dallas area). Like football, lots of bad Cowboy jokes. The new stadium is a great tornado shelter, cause there are no Touchdowns there. Or, the guy who got a ticket driving through Arlington, they gave him a ticket to the cowboys game. OUCH!! I have lived in Texas 29years, and its not bad, except the warm summers ( usually just a month of straight 100's). You don't want Amarillo, not where one really wants to be, its a different animal out there.
[QUOTE=blazer427X3;1576289284]I'm a caucasian born and raised in San Antonio where Hispanics are the majority of the population. Those "******s" that you refer to are, for the most part, honest and hard working, family oriented people who I am proud to count as friends and fellow Texans.
Thanks from a Latino-American who counts Anglos as my best friends. Christian first, American second, and Latino third.

GigEm (84)
you've been away from TEXAS for a while haven't you
True but if that was the case you would think it would be common elsewhere. Hell you'd think around here because of the over population of deer and twists in the road it would be 75 during the day and 45 at night.
