Heck, I buy my Mobil 1 and AC Delco oil filter at Wally world then pay the local Chevy store 15 bucks to do the change. I'm all about doing things myself, but having it done while I read the morning paper and drink a cup of complimentary coffee is hard to beat.

Nice buy! I just bought my 99 Nassau Blue Metallic coupe less than 3 weeks ago and I love it! I'm blown away by what a great car it is, how well it drives rides and accelerates - and then gets 33mpg cruising on the freeway. Nirvana baby!

Congrats and enjoy your "new" car! I've had mine for 10 months and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

If you haven't done so already, you might want to explore two of the stickies at the top of the C5 Tech page. Both the Ultimate DIY Thread and Important Electrical Information contain a wealth of useful info that I guarantee will save you a few headaches in the long run.

Very nice FRC. I also have a 99. Purchased it in Nov 09. In the spring I am going to plan a road trip down to Mayfield Ky. to visit my daughter. I am going to test myself and see if I can make the entire drive down doing the speed limit to try and get the best MPG.

The odds on me doing this are about 100 to 1 but I will give it a try
