The first 5 years of my 04's life put 13k on the clock. In the last 18 months, I have nearly doubled it. It'll turn 25k tomorrow at some point. I hate seeing the miles, but love putting them on.

I almost feel like that, except I see the miles as a sign of honor!

Don't worry... The way I come up with stupid reasons to drive the car, I'll catch up to you soon enough!
Bought my '99 new and put 4k and a lot of Zaino on her in the first 2 years. After 911 I took a long look at my life, sold the DD Honda, pull the Vette out of the garage, she just turned 155k. I find I smile alot more while driving.
Well, yesterday 03Z clicked over to 30,000 miles! That means I've put 11K miles on her since March!!!! (She's no garage queen!)
Yay! I'm now at 30,030 miles and I'm going to put a hell of a lot more on before the end of this year. (New Years in Vegas!!!)
Bought mine in March too. It had 24,9xx and now it's at about 47,xxx. And I'm getting ready to drive her from St. Louis, MO to Panama City Beach, FL to see my daughter in a week

Good to see you driving the car and enjoying it. I really need to do the same - my '03 only has 13.5K miles on it. Come spring, I hope to add a lot more miles.
I also have an '03Z. I bought mine 13 months ago with 30,000. It now has 34,000. Not able to drive it as much as I'd like to.
Right now, I'm rehabbing a left leg injury that prevents me from driving ANY of my manual transmission cars.
Well, that's a very good reason. Hope you get better to put some miles on that car!

That's a freaking awesome! I never really thought about that. I go out and drive my car because it's fun. But you'll never know when you've driven it for the last time.

No fun to own 'em if you don't drive 'em
Good lord, that's a lot of miles in a short period of time. I though I put a lot of miles on in no time.

I really love to see that people are driving their Vettes. Now if only we can get the wave to be more popular!
I'm wondered to see, how the bigger driver are here that drive more than a mile within a sort period of time. But it's really great to see the big comptetion.
Thanks and regards,
Simpson

I don't really see it as a competition to put the miles on the car. (That was sort of a joke.) The point was just to show we're not afraid of putting miles on the car. Some people don't like to put miles on their cars. But I don't think it matters WHAT car it is... If you're going to own a nice car, it should ALWAYS be driven because that's what it was built for.
