Congratulations, Eric on a beautiful car. It looks great. But be aware that this is a terminal sickness you will incur from this car. Next May will mark 40 years since I bought my first Corvette and I've had them and loved them ever since. It is a lifetime addiction!

Congrats on the purchase. Good looking car. Upgraded exhaust, tires and interior. The tires look like Goodyear F3's. Are they runflats? If not do you have a plan if you get a flat while on the road. Just trying to help. Again good looking car!! R/ Al

Thank you! I do not, however have a plan for a flat because I just realized I don't have a spare! I am so used to our BMW having a full sized spare, I didn't even think about it. What do most people do?

Were you from Greenville NC or SC? Well, I'm not real crazy about the North Carolina weather right now. We had 8" of snow here over the weekend. That cuts out all cruising in a Corvette.

Runflats or AAA and a can of instant spare tire.

The Vette comes stock with runflat tires that allow you to drive with a flat. Long enough for you to drive to a repair shop to have the tire repaired/replaced. If the tires are not run flats then most of us carry tools to deal with a flat. The run flat tires are expensive and not very good on performance. Additioanlly they are noisy. Options are:

Carry a can of fix a flat and hope that fixes it,
or
carry a small jack and hand tools to remove the tire, a tire plug kit and a small air compressor to re-inflate the tire.
