Last night I drove my car to a family dinner. Everything was fine driving it. When I went to leave the car would not start. The DIC had a message about "remove key and wait 10 seconds". I did that but it still would not start. It has power and everything electrical seems to be working. There is no clicking or other sounds when trying to start it. If anyone has run into this or have ideas please post up. Thanks
The remove key thing sometimes does indicate a low battery. did you try a jump? It takes a much stronger battery (amps) to turn overh the engine than it does to turn on a few lights...Cold weather is tough on batteries...Try a jump, then get back to us...

I will try this but the battery is less than a year old and a optima red top. While it is possible to be bad already just not likely. Maybe its not getting a charge. Thanks for the reply
Took the car to a local GM shop they said I was having issues with my BCM, so I did what any one would do start at the lowest common denominator, got a new key, new fob, still had issues. The I went to the starter changed it and no issues since.
Good luck
