Stock DRL housings have a tendency, over time, to crack and/or melt due to the heat of incandescent bulbs. Do the foreign made clear corner DRLs have the exact same tendency (with incandescents)? If so, the cooler LED type bulbs would likely eliminate any heat problems but are they just as bright as the incandescents?
Yes the stock and aftermarket corners will be effected by the heat of the bulbs over time.
The heat causes the lenses to crack. The LED lights will fix that issue.

The LED bulbs can cause "hyperflashing" but JWMotoring has the fix for that as well as the LED bulbs.
