Clean wheels, blue calipers
<p> First I cleaned the calipers thoroughly with wax and grease remover. Then I scuffed the surface with Scotchbrite pads to break the gloss, cleaned them again, and painted the inside of the caliper and then the outside. I did not take the brake line off the calipers. Then I put in new ceramic brake pads for less dust on the wheels, I hope. While in there I put speed bleeders on all 4 calipers, then I ran clean brake fluid through the entire system. It took about 15 minutes to bleed all 4 wheels by myself.

Then I washed the wheels with soap and water, then went over the inside of the wheels with rubbing compound and then a paste wax on the entire surface of the wheels. Before and after pictures of the inside of a front wheel.

Next I will wash the car, claybar it, polish and wax it. Then it will get driven in the rain for the rest of the winter.
The pictures were taken with my birthday present from my wife, a Nikon D3100 with 18-55 and 55-300 lenses. Now all I need to do is learn how to use its capabilities. Tough job. Pictures of a clean Corvette will follow.
