Default [DIC] "Oil Life Remain" message problem?

Changed the oil on my '99 yesterday. Got in to drive it today, held in the Reset button on the Oil Life Remain message and get the following: "OIL LIFE REMAIN _ _ _%" It won't show 100%. I can't seem to figure out how to get it to clear and show 100%. Been a long time since I changed the oil but I didn't think I forgot how to reset the message?

Odd...I always had to press the gas pedal 3x with the key 'on'.

Works either way. Reset button or gas pedal 3x. But must be done with ignition ON but engine NOT running.

Cool glad to help!!! My guess is the motor might have been running,,OR the key might not have been full on,,in the accessory mode!!

Generally while the motor still hasn't fired,,you should see100%!! BUT as soon as you fire it up and back it out of the garage,,more than likely 99%!!
