So I've decided to tackle re-covering my seats myself. Will probably buy from DJ Motorsports and do a two tone thing to match my interior. I will also buy the extra pieces for gear shift, e-brake, etc.
While I have the seats out, I'm thinking that installing seat heaters would be a good idea, as I've really been wanting that feature.
While I have the console apart for gear shift leather or while I have the seats out, are there any other nice mods I should consider?
BTW, I drive an 04 LeMans Vert, auto trans, everything currently stock (except for the window valet chip).
I did exactly what you are considering...The new leather seat covers with accessory kit is outstanding quality and is an easy fun job to do in the garage. I have pics of my interior in my profile pics for reference. A couple of things I would do while you have everything out is as follows:
1. Rocking seat fix
2. Sound dampening padding under carpet
3. Parking brake tension adjustment
4. Peripheral ipod adapter
5. New shift ****
