Since it was such a nice day, I decided to take the Vette on an 85 mile(each way) trip to southern Maryland. The roads were dry and free of road salt. The trip down was great, however, when I started back on the D.C. beltway I saw the signs indicating that they were pretreating the road with chemicals in anticipation of some snow flurries that were supposed to come on Friday! This is Wednesday! Low and behold, the air was filled with the fog created by cars and trucks running over the stuff and putting it into the air! The chemicals were everywhere! When I got home I looked at my baby and she was covered with the stuff. I couldn't stand the idea of putting her back on her lift and having her look like that for several days so I headed off to the U wash it. It was 36 degrees and the wind was blowing but I got her clean. My hands were about frozen because I hand washed and dried her. Oh, the sacrifices we make for our babies!
By your title I thought you were going to show us your new spoilers...... BTW I know how you feel about putting a dirty vette up for the winter. The car washes around here have heated water. Can't wait till spring.

I'm sure the seat time you got was worth having to clean up the car. Too bad though that they pre-treated the roads right before you came back from the trip.
