Well bored on my day off so I figured Id update my thread with the new paint
Im trying to get my hood off soon to sell it, should bring a nice price to help pay for Quik's ZR2 hood

Old pic:

New Pic:

I swear by looking at this pic and the similar ones I took the hood has a HIGHER rise haha
Its just an Rksport High rise! and yes I need to lower it

Oh yea and Here's a Borla setup installed at my dads family owned shop(Ford dealership in the 1930s!!)

BMG this pick is for you thanks for the Halo's!

Im debating on painting the calipers Black too(completely blacked out then)

but the red just pops ya know? Opinions, pictures ? :

hmm, well since you are already "ruining" the car, I think I would have gone flat black with chrome wheels and keep the lenses stock. Painted lenses always look cheesy to me.

I think that front bumper is the best looking one out there for sure and the new pic with the top down/blacked out side markers looks great!

Just needs some foglights.

So what do you guys think? Red calipers stay? Or paint em black and Polish the Corvette lettering?

Depends on the car. If I had a Corvette that wasn't all that nice to begin with I think I would turn her into something bad *** and track ready. I'm all about making your Corvette your own, but clean simple mods. Like a nice stance, wheels, and performance parts. Most "murdered" cars I see are hacked or covered in over-spray and unevenly painted lenses, wheels and interior pieces. But in the end its your car, and the only thoughts that matter are your own

Ohhh ok I see, trust me Im not cutting corners(thats why I took back to the shop for them to fix it)

As for the lenses they were professionally done, I didnt do VHT with clear or something lol.

The wheels are just C6Z replicas gloss black(dirty in photo's)

But I will agree with you on one thing, when I bought this car, and how nice it was??? man it was a hard decision blacking it out. But I always say, If I wanted nice a clean looking, I'll just drive the caddy lol
