Like the title of the movie, A Bridge to Far, my last mod was almost a mess. My plan was to put GM splash guards on my 04 convertible. I had previously put them on my 08 convertible, so after reading posts on the form, I thought I would give it a try. My plan was to hold the guards on with clips from Ed (pipedreams) plus adding molding tape. Well, like a dummy, I cut the front guards down before I figured out, there was no way to use the clips on the front because there wasn't enough room between the inner fender and the guards. SO, out of desperation, I put them on the rear, after a lot of time, bad language and prayer. I then put the rear on the front and used similar screws as stock to hold the guards on plus additional molding tape. Again, a lot of time, bad language and prayer. They look pretty good but if asked if I would do it again, the answer is NO. If I wasn't so hard headed and cheap, I would of probably gone with the C6 splash guards made my another vendor, but I really didn't want to drill any holes in the glass plus I didn't like how bulky they looked. Good luck if you try this yourself, just know it's not fun or easy to do.
