Weatherstrip question - leaky top
Gents,
I did some searching but couldn't find an answer.
My 2004 vert's weatherstripping is torn - it's the part that is on the pillar on the driver's side of the windshield (part of it seals to the driver's door window) - It's not the part that is attached to the roof.
Is there a name for this part (like "pillar weatherstipping" or something) and how difficult is it to replace myself?
I have a wet left shoulder.

the pillars and top of the windshield are one(1) piece, prepare to pay with your wet left arm.

What i did was buy one from a vette recycle shop, saved major bucks!

I don't know how serious your tear is, but I had a tear on mine (Targa Top) I found some aquarium grade silicone @ lowes. Using my finger and a popsicle stick I glued it back onto the car and sealed the tear. No problem and I have drove through a couple hard rains since.
